Announcement of the First Global COE International Symposium

The Global COE Program is pleased to announce the very first Border Studies Symposium which will be held on Dec. 19, 2009 (Sat). The theme of the symposium is: "First Contact: Bringing Together the Worldwide Community of Border Studies". We will be inviting renown border studies scholars from Canada, Finland, Ireland and the UK to discuss the current trends and urgent themes in border studies.
